Holidays are slow days for Gundam

I haven't done any work on my model kits these days - it definitely feels like, forever!

Any ways, progress is absolutely slow on my side. What with the holidays and time-consuming shopping sprees looking for gifts that only a number of people will appreciate. As they say, "It's better to give than to receive."

Plus, been busy with other things - some pre-orders came in this month, and well, nostalgia follows. Also, Gundam Build Fighters is absolutely building up... excitement! Not to mention Kill La Kill!

Figma 200 Hatsune Miku 2.0 - my first!!! ^_^

The family's getting bigger - I gotta get me my own shelf!

They have Constantine and the Dean brothers,
 we have Trese.

A second piece for OnePiece -
an SCultures Princess Shirahoshi

Best thing with my holiday so far is, I got this kawaii SD 00 Gundam Seven Sword G from the raffle at the office! Someone didn't want it, I guess. Built it in an hour or so, soon as I got home. Cute as hell.

Uhuh yeah! Also got that Gaiman book on my wishlist!

Teeny-weeny arms - my first SD.

Anyway, here's some work-in-progress on the RX-78-2 Ver. 3.0!!!

I was shopping at this surplus shop in Makati and found these.

Se detailed.

The instructions are very adept.

I like that these plates (?) have a hue difference.

Having some fun.

The torso as built.

Pilots from previous models:
Char Aznable, Heero Yuy and Zechs Merquise

Testing the head on some LED light.

The difference panel lining can make!

These. Arrr.

Very time consuming.

Then someone told me I could have done with a gold/bronze
Artline marker. LOL

Testing the head again - well, admiring it this time - with a pink LED unit.

Arms done, yo!

A "side-by-side" comparison.

I did not like what happened
to those stickers after installing the parts in.

But, it still rocks, though!

GUNDAM BUILD FIGHTERS-Episode 11: Battle Royal

I haven't been as excited watching a series as much as this!
This Battle Royal proved to be an entertaining bit for Gundam Build Fighters - absolutely stupendous!

I had to laugh with Fellini's part - imagine that other guy, Cziommer, doing all his best to be in the World Tournament; just to have a face-off with him because of a GIRL?! And not only that, he went out and grabbed other heartbroken fighters with the same Fellini-hatred! That was hilarious!

I don't know why, but the Fenice is my favorite.

Gundam X Mao

Yuuki-sempai is absolutely brainwashed with this Meijin thing.

So power. Much dark. Wow.

GUNDAM BUILD FIGHTERS - Episode 10: The World Tournament

Star Build Strike Gundam shows off at World Tournament!

One of the highlights of the latest episode of Gundam Build Fighters is Iori Sei's upgraded Build Strike Gundam, now appropriately named Star Build Strike Gundam!

It goes all sailor-senshi-transformation by the end of the episode to win the thirteenth match and gain a place for the next round!!!

Some screenshots: (I took them on my phone so...poor quality, yeah?!)
Looks the same,!
The Chobham Shield absorbing and nullifying beam attacks.
It's super effective!
The Plavzky Gate generated by the Universe Booster,
unit then enters Discharge Speed Mode upon passing through
Plavzky Wings, yeah!
I was all giddy watching this - they're so close to having their dreams come true.... ^_^  Let's not forget the others, though.
Ricardo Fellini, playboy extraordinaire,
champion of Italy
Just can't hold his liquid, though.
It scares Kirara
So Mao, got "disillusioned" upon
seeing his idol hung over
He did win his match, hah!
Here's Wing Gundam Fenice's winning strike!

Here we have the mysterious Aila Jyrkainen of team Nemesis,
champion of Finland who defeated Carlos Kaiser
here we see her soft side, lovey-dovey for that meat bun
...and fighting with Reiji for that meat bun!
So cute together!

Aila's Qubeley Papillon
I didn't really get what happened here... it was so fast! T_T
The World Tournament stadium at Shizuoka
...and inside! So space. Wow.

We've yet to see more of PPSE's champion "Meijin Kawaguchi's" performance!
It's all too exciting, no?!
